OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our Occupational Therapists will design the path and assist you along the way as you reach for your rehabilitation goals and customize your treatment to help you get back to functional level sooner and improve your ability to perform daily activities. Our therapists help you back to independence and assist in rebuilding your skills and strength. We can provide creative solutions and alternatives for carrying out daily activities when previous skills and strengths are not as functional.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our Speech and Language Pathologists are dedicated experts who will treat Stroke, Dementia (Alzheimer's), Voice Safety Issues, Cognitive Disorders, Dysphasia, Dysphagia (swallowing problems), Reasoning and Problem solving and Memory Retention. We also offer pediatric Speech Therapy services designed to give children with communication disorders the opportunity to gain the independence and self-confidence that come with the ability to learn and communicate. Our staff also offers Vital-Stim for swallowing disorders and an Endoscope to perform swallow studies.
INDUSTRIAL REHABILITATION
We offer a variety of industrial rehabilitation services to the community. We perform comprehensive FCE's (functional capacity evaluations) and offer a work conditioning program to help clients return to work. We also offer a variety of pre-employment screens for local businesses to ensure that new employees have the ability to safely perform the job tasks required by their employer and rule out any pre-existing musculoskeletal conditions.
AQUATIC THERAPY
We offer the only therapeutic pool in Fayette County. Our indoor 93 degree therapeutic pool features safety bars for non-swimmers and various equipment to be used while exercising in the pool. Individuals with a variety of disabilities and orthopedic conditions can participate in aquatic therapy because the buoyancy of water facilitates and assist with exercise. We have stairs and a lift to safely transport clients in/out of the pool.
SPORTS MEDICINE
We treat athletes of all ages and skill levels. We understand the importance of returning an injured athlete back to maximal functional level as quickly and safely as possible. Our therapists spend many volunteer hours helping out with the local high school teams to help prevent injuries and return athletes back to action in a safe time - frame.
